emotive. took Gold and Silver last night at the PM Society Digital Awards for their interactive medical education case study programme for ViiV Healthcare. The highly effective educational programme which used a variety of innovative technologies to create a unique and engaging meetings experience won Gold in the HCP Education, Training and Support category and a Silver in Congress, Meetings and Events. Both categories were judged within the ‘effectiveness’ section of the awards, with a large proportion of the marks coming from the achievement of objectives and measurable outcomes.
The PM Society Digital Awards, held last night at The Brewery, London celebrates the innovation, quality and results achieved through digital communications within the healthcare arena. This awards event, now in its 9th year, aims to highlight the best programmes, initiatives and campaigns across a broad range of digital activities, with a particular focus on effectiveness and innovation.
emotive. used an innovative technology platform in a live meetings setting to engage an audience of top HIV clinicians. A combination of data-driven applications with presentations from a virtual patient in the room facilitated a high level of participation amongst the audience. Data captured on treatment choices and clinical intentions before and after the session was able to demonstrate clear intended behavioural change amongst the group.
Commenting on the news, Senior Account Director and HIV lead for emotive, Andrew Parry, said, “The team at emotive. are passionate about our work in the HIV therapy area and are so proud to have created this key meetings series for ViiV. The Mexico meeting demonstrated real shifts in the behaviour of the HCPs that attended which followed through to clinic prescribing. The success of the project has led to the ART Perspectives programme being implemented all over the world and ViiV were very pleased with the outcomes.”

I rolled this out in Mexico and the results we saw were outstanding.
