emotive is celebrating Pride this year in the run up to the Pride Parade in London on July 6th. We kicked off our emotive Pride week with a get together on the last Friday of June, the official month of Pride. The team gathered and managed to form a rainbow in the office, no mean feat when the majority of our team wear black on most days of the week! But they were happy to reach to the back of the wardrobe for some brighter colours for a great cause and to celebrate the diversity in our own team and med comms in general.
What does each colour of the Pride rainbow stand for? A fine example of just one of the questions that popped up in our lunchtime LGBTQ+ quiz! On Tuesday our Talent Manager, Gemma, transformed into the role of quizmaster and four teams went head to head to test their knowledge on all things LGBTQ+; from great historic milestones to celebrity facts. The office competitive streak emerged in full force as the game went to tiebreaker round and extra points were awarded to the best team name; “All the colleagues of the rainbow” stole the show and took home the prize.
This Friday saw the transformation of the emotive office where the team continued to celebrate Pride in full colour.
