The Pharmaceutical Marketing Effectiveness Awards (PMEA 2016), to be held in London on Wednesday 23rd November 2016, recognise and commend excellence, best practice and innovation in local, European, and international healthcare markets.
Virtual Valve is no stranger to success, where earlier on this year at the PM Society 2016 awards, it received the honour of achieving the highest scoring entry in the entire awards, and took home a total of 3 awards; Gold for Best Digital Solution for Congress or Meeting, Gold for Best Digital HCP Program as well as a Silver award in the Innovation category.
Virtual Valve is a fully immersive, multisensory virtual reality medical education experience that takes cardiologists inside the hearts of aortic stenosis patients. Uniquely, cardiologists can explore in detail the inside of different patients’ beating hearts, experience the symptoms and comorbidities of aortic stenosis, and change the disease’s severity to observe the impact on anatomy and physiology, before selecting the most suitable treatment.
Bringing patient case studies to life like never before, & delivering previously unheard of levels of HCP engagement, the project has been shortlisted for awards in two categories: Excellence in Physicians/Healthcare Provider Support Programmes; and Innovation.
